General explanation attachment

To whom it may concern, i am writing this letter to request abatement for late penalties that will most likely be assessed for the affordable housing conference of montgomery county (ahcmc) for fye 6/30/2023 and fye 6/30/2024. The reason i am requesting forgiveness is that there was a change of leadership in 2023. The executive director before me left the organization in may 2023 and did not file this paperwork before she left and it was assumed that she had completed this work. She also left the organization without any exit memo. I became the executive director in september 2023. THE REASON I AM REQUESTING FORGIVENESS IS THAT THERE WAS A CHANGE OF LEADERSHIP IN 2023.
