Starting April 2017 DCST entered into an agreement with Greater Greater Washington, Inc. to receive management and staffing services, office space and other administrative and overhead costs.

The organization has two class of members: Class A and Class B. Class A is the only type of member that has voting rights.

Member election for additional members Part VI line 7A

An organization that contributes at least $5,000 to DCST in a calendar year becomes a class A member. For each $5,00 contribution to DCST in a calendar year, a class A member has one vote that it casts, in that year, including the election of the Board of Directors, provided that in no case a class A members vote on a matter exceeds 1/3 of the total number of votes that may be cast by all the class A members on that matter.

Each director, principal officer, and member of a committee with board delegated powers annually signs a statement which affirms that such person: has received a copy of the conflict of interest policy; has read and understand the policy; has agreed to comply with the policy; understands that the corporation is a charitable organization and that in order to maintain its federal tax exemption it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish one or more of its tax-exempt purposes; and when a conflict arises, including voting matters, appropriate actions will be taken according to the organizations policy and procedures.
