The executive director and treasurer review the 990 form prepared by the independent accountant. The executive director sends the 990 form to the board members/circle keepers prior to the board meeting. At the board meeting the treasurer presents the 990 to the board members who vote to approve the 990.

IN ADDITION, WE CONDUCTED APPROXIMATELY 22 WORKSHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS TO OVER 1000 PEOPLE, AT VARIOUS STATE AND NATIONAL VENUES. THE TOPICS INCLUDED: PROSTITUTION/TRAFFICKING OF NATIVE WOMEN & CHILDREN; SEXUAL VIOLENCE AGAINST NATIVE WOMEN; TRIBAL STRATEGIES TO ADDRESS SEXUAL VIOLENCE; MENTAL HEALTH; TWO SPIRITS/LGBTQ ISSUES; MEN'S SUMMIT; CONFIDENTIALITY; AND ADVOCACY STANDARDS OF SERVICE. WE TRAVELED TO TRIBAL AND NON-TRIBAL COMMUNITIES AROUND THE COUNTRY. WE CONDUCTED 3 TRAININGS UTILIZING OUR CULTURALLY SPECIFIC 40-HOUR SEXUAL ASSAULT ADVOCACY TRAINING CURRICULUM.

THE MMIR (MISSING & MURDERED INDIGENOUS RELATIVES) MARCH IS HELD EVERY YEAR ON FEBRUARY 14TH.
