Significant activities include providing comprehensive, integrated, primary and preventive medical, behavioral health, and dental care to a growing population of underserved area residents. Shhc services patients from across allegheny county at three fixed sites, one in the pittsburgh neighborhood of squirrel hill, brentwood, and one in bellevue, pa, and at multiple sites served by its mobile medical unit, which brings the primary care clinician to isolated patients and communities. Current mobile unit sites include milestone inc., prospect park family center, mooncrest neighborhood program, alpha house, turtle creek, and passages. Shhc accepts medicaid, medicare, all major commercial insurance plans, and has a sliding fee scale available for income eligible uninsured and underinsured patients. No patient is turned away due to inability to pay for services.”

INTEGRATED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE, AVAILABLE TO PATIENTS OF SHHC'S PRIMARY MEDICAL CLINICIANS, INCLUDES PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATIONS AND TREATMENT, INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP THERAPY, MEDICATION MANAGEMENT FOR A VARIETY OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIAGNOSES, AS WELL AS INTEGRATED MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT FOR OPIOID ADDICTION. SHHC PROVIDES PREVENTIVE, RESTORATIVE AND EMERGENCY DENTAL SERVICES AT THE SQUIRREL HILL LOCATION ONLY. SHHC ALSO PROVIDES ON-SITE LAB SERVICES, ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS, ASSISTANCE IN INSURANCE ENROLLMENT, CARE COORDINATION.
