IRS990ScheduleA/Form990ScheduleAPartVIGrp/ExplanationTxt0Isaac Foundation, Inc. Isaac Foundation, Inc. MISSION STATEMENT Co-creating a world of passionate men, by calling, teaching and empowering men into lives of significance. "ISAAC" means the return to joy. "FOUNDATION" is our commitment to call all men to discover and live their mission in this world. When a man crafts and implements a personal mission with the support of other healthy men, he experiences a return to joy. In meeting challenges and obstacles with a heartfelt vision, this support transforms a life by connecting to the personal mission statement a man creates, a statement that beckons for the best of what he is and the best of what he will become. FOCUS The Isaac Foundation is a network of small cell groups aiming to support men during transition and help them discover and implement a new or renewed personal mission. For years, we have worked with men who feel disconnected from themselves, their families, and their communities, and who lack a sense of purpose. We have set out to awaken and support a man's return to a full and productive life of purpose and integrity. SUPPORT Weekly Encounters: The Sojourner's are a band of brothers who meet regularly. Their commitment is to refine their lifestyle to reflect their personal mission in this world. We support, affirm, confront and open up the space for a man to openly develop into the man he always hoped to be. It is a powerful and awakening experience to be able to know that other men see you, know you and are genuine with their commitment to show you the love and support that the male hearts have ached for. M.U.D.D. Men: Men's Ultimate Divine Destiny This is a midweek encounter in the early morning that established a fresh word, a light meal, a connection with other men who commit to support and stand with a man as he walks out the calling on his life. D.I.R.T. DAYS: Doing Integrity, Real Time Day event designed to allow a man a chance to clarify the mission he is walking out and unmask the ways which he short circuits his success in seeing the reality of his calling unfold. Men need other men. Iron sharpens Iron. This is an intentional time of safely discovering and overcoming obstacles to full and passionate living as a man. S.M.A.R.T Encounters : Sacred Masculine, Alive, Redeemed, Tenacious This is an intensive weekend encounter where a man enters into the sacred path of initiation into becoming the full and passionate man he was created to be in this world. It will allow him a chance to see the mission he has been uniquely fashion to fulfill. It will allow him to see and overcome some of the life sucking events in his history. It is safe and sacred time of encounter with the reality of God capture of us in the Grace of Jesus. SUPPORTIVE VENTURES Physical: We have connections with community faith based short-term halfway housing available to men recently released from an institutional setting under two conditions: (1) the man must maintain gainful employment; (2) the man must attend all scheduled group meetings and individualized track appointments which will assist him in making the desired changes. Any man who does not comply jeopardizes his length of stay. Nutrition: Since many men do not consider the importance of a healthy body, they will learn, through instruction and practical classes, the basic necessities for promoting wellness through diet and exercise and by enacting a personal plan for change where needed. Emotional: We incorporate men into existing cell groups so they can heal past wounds which have chained them to the beliefs and values that have lead to their disconnection The groups are instructive and practical, but not passive; they passionately engage men in their lives. Vocational: During transition, men often need assistance with employment. Through a network of agencies and industries, the Isaac Foundation helps men explore their need for productive independence. We believe instructional support and guidance enhances the potential for success

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0I am requesting that this be considered as I was off on the date for the extension and was heavily involved in the close of a family member who lingered long in hospice. My attention to maintain all normal daily function and to attend to the grief of my own family took a major toll on me. This is a personal request as this has been an unusually stress infused season of my life. Your thoughtful and compassionate response would help us as we keep our heads and hearts afloat. Our reduced staff has kept the work load high on me as a professional. Thank you for being considerate of this request for not imposing the penalty. We as an agency have put in place a back up plan for future manners for handling these types of life issues that impact us. Respectfully ...Barry Boyle
