In 2014, we trained two dozen public interest organizations and approximately 500 people - journalists, academics, activists, and other researchers - in how to use LittleSis to investigate power and influence in the policymaking process. LittleSis is used and cited regularly by researchers and journalists at a range of academic, media, and public interest organizations, and a community of volunteers contributes data to the site. Over 32,000 new profile pages for influential individuals and organizations in business and government were created during 2014. PAI also improved several features on LittleSis, including advanced tools for searching and filtering data and a mapping tool that facilitates storytelling with the data in LittleSis. Core data sets, including money in politics data and corporate leadership data, are also updated each year.”
