Two individuals each have the right to select one member of the board of directors in addition, the utah navajo health system incorporated has the right to select two members of the board of directors, and the ute mountain ute tribe has the right to select four members of the board of directors.

A copy of the 990 is provided to the cfo who reviews the form, schedules and related attachments. Any comments or questions are addressed with the preparer and a final draft is presented to the board of directors who then approve the 990. Once management is satisfied with the 990, the cfo signs the form 8879-te authorizing the preparer to e-file the return.

Most reviews for potential conflicts are conducted by the hospital's administration if the potential conflict involves a member of the hospital's administration. The board of directors reviews the potential conflict of interest situation. If a conflict of interest is determined to be present, the individual(s) involved are to remove themselves from any applicable votes and/or negotiations.

The regional data is also used as a point of comparison for all other positions within the hospital. The hospital is a not-for-profit corporation and is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Accordingly, no provision for income tax is necessary. The hospital evaluates uncertain tax positions whereby the effect of the uncertainty would be recorded if the outcome was considered probable and reasonably estimable. As of september 30, 2024 and 2023, the hospital had no uncertain tax positions requiring accrual.

BMH OFFERS X-RAY, CT, MRI AND FLUOROSCOPIC RADIOLOGY EXAMS AND PERFORMED 5,949 TOTAL PROCEDURES IN OUTPATIENT RADIOLOGY. BMH PERFORMED A VARIETY OF OUTPATIENT INFUSION THERAPIES TO 195 PATIENTS. BMH OFFERS A COMPREHENSIVE PANEL OF LABORATORY TESTS ONSITE AND HELPS NEARBY CLINICS PERFORMING 47,683 TESTS DURING THE YEAR.
