Mission

Our mission is to provide high quality Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) intake services for La Porte, Saint Joseph, Pulaski, Fulton, Marshall and Starke counties. Our mission includes outreach activities to child care providers and partners to educate them on the existence of our program and encourage their clients to seek our services.

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

For the year ended June 30, 2014, the Organization adopted the accounting policy to recognize a tax benefit only if it is more likely than not the tax position would be sustained in a tax examination, with a tax examination being presumed to occur. The amount recognized will be the largest amount of tax benefit that is greater than 50% likely of being realized on examination. For tax positions not meeting the more-likely-than-not test, no tax benefit will be recorded. The Organization has examined this issue and has determined there are no material contingent tax liabilities.

For families seeking funding from FSSA to help pay for child card, the organization makes sure the family meets eligibility requirements including low income families and/or families with no income however are attending school. The amount recognized will be the largest amount of tax benefit that is greater than 50% likely of being realized on examination. For tax positions not meeting the more-likely-than-not test, no tax benefit will be recorded. The Organization has examined this issue and has determined there are no material contingent tax liabilities.
