The WV Pharmacists Recovery Network WVPRN is organized exclusively as a charity organization as defined in section 501c3 since its inception in 2004.The organization receives 100 percent of its funding from contracts with state boards and particpant fees. The WVPRN is an organization designed to identify impaired pharmacists/dentists/pharmacy techs and dental hygienists in the state of WV that may be impaired from substance use or mental health issues. The program works with the associated professional board to facilitate treatment for the participant, which includes aftercare monitoring via a contract agreement between the WVPRN and the corresponding board. The WVPRN also works with the corresponding professional board to provide education on the program and the disease of addiction to help mitigate the stigma that can occur due to addiction issues. The corporation owns few assets currently, including a couple laptop computers and printers. Should dissolution occur of the organization, all assets will be distributed for one or more of the exempt purposes witing the meaning of section 501c3.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0The WV Pharmacists Recovery Network WVPRN is organized exclusively as a charity organization as defined in section 501c3 since its inception in 2004.The organization receives 100 percent of its funding from contracts with state boards and particpant fees. The WVPRN is an organization designed to identify impaired pharmacists/dentists/pharmacy techs and dental hygienists in the state of WV that may be impaired from substance use or mental health issues. The program works with the associated professional board to facilitate treatment for the participant, which includes aftercare monitoring via a contract agreement between the WVPRN and the corresponding board. The WVPRN also works with the corresponding professional board to provide education on the program and the disease of addiction to help mitigate the stigma that can occur due to addiction issues. The corporation owns few assets currently, including a couple laptop computers and printers. Should dissolution occur of the organization, all assets will be distributed for one or more of the exempt purposes witing the meaning of section 501c3.
