The organization provides a supply of affordable homes in whitefish mt. Under the program, homes are be purchased, rehabilitated or demolished and new homes constructed. The homes are sold or rented to eligible persons. The organization advocated for affordable housing policy solutions at the local and state level. For fiscal year ending 6/30/25, the organization continues to operate the whitefish workforce assistance program. The program provides rental assistance payments to landlords on behalf of eligible applicants. The program has served over 80 households this past year. In addition to the workforce assistance program, the organization continues to make progress on the alpenglow ii development. The organization secured a 1 million grant from the city of whitefish and was approved for a coal trust multifamily homes program loan from the state of montana for the project. Housing whitefish is con..nuing to make progress on housing development efforts and anticipates being awarded a new project in the next few months.

UNDER THE PROGRAM, HOMES ARE BE PURCHASED, REHABILITATED OR DEMOLISHED AND NEW HOMES CONSTRUCTED. THE HOMES ARE SOLD OR RENTED TO ELIGIBLE PERSONS. THE ORGANIZATION ADVOCATED FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING POLICY SOLUTIONS AT THE LOCAL AND STATE LEVEL. FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6/30/25, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO OPERATE THE WHITEFISH WORKFORCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES RENTAL ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS TO LANDLORDS ON BEHALF OF ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS. THE PROGRAM HAS SERVED OVER 80 HOUSEHOLDS THIS PAST YEAR. IN ADDITION TO THE WORKFORCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO MAKE PROGRESS ON THE ALPENGLOW II DEVELOPMENT. THE ORGANIZATION SECURED A 1 MILLION GRANT FROM THE CITY OF WHITEFISH AND WAS APPROVED FOR A COAL TRUST MULTIFAMILY HOMES PROGRAM LOAN FROM THE STATE OF MONTANA FOR THE PROJECT. HOUSING WHITEFISH IS CON..NUING TO MAKE PROGRESS ON HOUSING DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS AND ANTICIPATES BEING AWARDED A NEW PROJECT IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS.
