Ntp's long awaited capital improvements have been further delayed as the selected contractor declined to proceed with the project given concerns about rising material costs and scheduling. Since then, the organization has sought another contractor to proceed with the work. Programmatically, the theater has had yet another successful year on stage with such family favorites as matilda: the musical, the mystery of edwin drood, steel magnolias, sherwood: the adventures of robin hood, big fish, and much ado about nothing. Ntp launched its first children's theater with a weeklong camp including staff and 30 middle school aged children attending. The theater also continued its collaboration with surrounding nonprofit organizations including comsic, st. Mary's county arts council, historic st. Mary's city and anne marie gardens to name a few.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt5NTP'S LONG AWAITED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN FURTHER DELAYED AS THE SELECTED CONTRACTOR DECLINED TO PROCEED WITH THE PROJECT GIVEN CONCERNS ABOUT RISING MATERIAL COSTS AND SCHEDULING.
