| As of 12/31/24, more than 160 acres of land in Lenox has been conserved under The Land Trust. In addition to monitoring our existing properties in 2024, LLT launched a campaign to take over the 65 acre Hallowell Meadows property along East Street. This property is strategically located between the center of Lenox and the village of Lenox Dale. It is also a quarter mile from Lenox Middle and High School. LLT pursued this aggressively because it may benefit the entire town, summer residents, and students who wish to use the long dormant property for hiking, biking, and seasonal hunting. During 2024, we completed all negotiations and a secured proposal from a design firm to revive and improve the trail system. We also received the blessing of the town to support parking onsite. After an extended board effort and collaboration with Berkshire Natural Resources Council, LLT took title to the property in Q1 2025. | $0 | $0 |
