Mission

A california nonprofit corporation formed to construct, own and operate a facility for low-income housing.

To provide low-income and very low-income developmentally disabled persons in alameda county, california, for whom no other adequate housing exists, with housing facilities and services specially designed to meet their physical, social and psychological needs, and to promote their health, security, happiness and usefulness in longer living, the charges for such facilities and services to be predicated upon the provision, maintenance and operation thereof on a nonprofit basis.

The project is managed by housing consortium of the east bay (hceb), a nonprofit public benefit corporation with the power to appoint 3 out of 7 board of directors of the managed corporation. Hceb is responsible for the day to day operations of the low income housing project, including maintenance of accounting records, rent collection, facility maintenance, etc.
