The organization's program services focus on child abuse preventionthrough parent education and support to avoid the occurence of crisisin the home. These services are accomplished by providing acomprehensive array of educational and supportive services to familiesand child care providers including child developmental screenings, homevisitations, and linkage to community resources. This programmingfosters healthy family relationships, improves health and otherchildhood outcomes, reduces the risk of abuse and neglect, and prepareschildren for productive lives. Current programs include parentinggroups, healthy families america home visiting program, parents asteachers home visiting program, infant injury prevention and healthpromotion project, fatherhood initiative/father's groups, parentleadership training, and alumni support.
