The foundation is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code (irc) and the applicable missouri statutes. It has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation of the irc and contributions to the foundation qualify for the charitable contribution deduction for donors. The foundation evaluated its tax positions and determined that it has no uncertain tax positions as of june 30, 2018 and 2017.
