Self Protection Awareness (Spa)

To provide access to service providers and improve the quality of life for homeless individuals, income deficit families, and individuals infected with/affected (family, friends, relatives, and the general public) by hiv/aids/sti's. To promote and educate the general public to take preventative measures to stop the spread of hiv/aids/sti's and ultimately to reduce the infection rates of hiv/sti's. Additionally spa provides consultant services, education services, technical assistance and training to the general public to include local schools, colleges, universities, faith based groups, community based programs, local agencies, police departments, correctional facilities, u.s. Military installations, and landlords.

To help empower others to improve their quality of life. Spa services are provided to families/individuals who are experiencing homelessness, income deficits, living in poverty, and/or experiencing hardships due to covid-19, or hiv/aids/sti's. To provide awareness, education prevention, resources, and services for families/individuals infected with hiv/aids/sti's or families, relatives, and the general public affected by hiv/aids/sti's. To reduce infection rates.in addition to the above, advocacy is a vital part of spa services. Individuals in crisis can be too overwhelmed to think through their options. Spa's advocacy services help to empower others to navigate: service provider systems, provide linkages to gain access to much needed resources, and provide a voice for those who are unable to advocate for themselves. Spa provides consultant services, education services, technical assistance and training to the general public for schools, universities, faith based groups, community
