Schedule D, Page 2, Part III, Line 4

Over the 25 years of our existence, various posters, prints, watercolors, oils, carvings, and statuary have been donated to us. Almost all representing animals or human-animal relationships, some donations are of of a spiritual nature such as the statues of angels and saint francis. Most of these are displayed in our main hall and other public rooms, where workshops and clinics are held. Over 1,000 school children and 2,000 adult visitors come through for visits, events and to volunteer. These art works provide an atmosphere of tranquility, peace, beauty, love, and all together, they wonderfully state the union of all living spirits, exactly in keeping with our mission statement and what we wish to teach and give to the world. Visitors relax and break into smiles upon entering, their days made happy and peaceful by just being here. We have several volunteers who tell us that being able to come to spring farm cares and be with the animals in such peaceful and beautiful surroundings very literally keeps them sane. Many of our employees have voiced similar sentiments, saying that working midst such beauty and tranquility reduces stress, making work that could be very hard, or often chaotic, seem much less like work.

IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0OVER THE 25 YEARS OF OUR EXISTENCE, VARIOUS POSTERS, PRINTS, WATERCOLORS, OILS, CARVINGS, AND STATUARY HAVE BEEN DONATED TO US.
IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt1THE EARNINGS FROM THE ENDOWMENT ARE USED TO FUND THE PROGRAMS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
