THIS PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE TO YOUTH 4 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER WITH LITTLE OF NO SKATING SKILLS. 225-230 YOUTHS ARE ACTIVE PLAYERS ON 13-14 TEAMS. THE PLAYERS ARE PLACED ON A TEAM BASED ON THEIR AGE AND THE RESULTS OF AN ON-ICE PLACEMENT EVALUATIONS. THE PARTICIPATES RANGE IN AGE FROM 5 YEARS TO 18 YEARS. EACH OF THE 17 TEAMS HAVE AT LEAST 3 ADULT COACHES. THE COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF THE PLAYER ALONG WITH PROVIDING THE BEST INSTRUCTION POSSIBLE AND IMPARTING ETHICAL VALUES AND SPORTMANSHIP TO EACH AND EVERY PLAYER UNDER HIS/HER DIRECTION.
