“Adoption of the liquidation basis of accounting as a result of association's board of directors approval of the plan of dissolution and distribution of assets, association adopted the liquidation basis of accounting effective from october 12, 2023. The liquidation basis of accounting is required when liquidation is deemed imminent. Under the liquidation basis of accounting, assets are valued at their net realizable values, and liabilities are stated at their estimated settlement amounts. Circumstances leading to the liquidation decision as association has ceased the operations for which it was originally formed, the board of directors determined that a complete liquidation of association would provide the ability to distribute net assets back to the original members. Accordingly, as of october 12, 2023, the association adopted the plan of dissolution and has submitted the plan along with the certification of dissolution to the new york state attorney general for approval. The new york state attorney general approved the plan of dissolution in october of 2024. With this approval, association will seek to liquidate its assets, satisfy or make reasonable provisions for the satisfaction of its obligations, and make distributions to members of any available liquidation proceeds and of any remaining cash on hand in early 2025. Plan of liquidation the association plans to liquidate investments, and liabilities are expected to be settled in full with creditors. Association expects to complete its liquidation in 2025. Significant methods and assumptions for measuring assets and liabilities investments and cash were measured at fair value based on the market price. Settlement amounts for liabilities were based on legally obligated amounts.”
