Individuals who have shown extraordinary dedication, support and service in promulgating the goals of marc may be elected by the board to be honorary directors at the board meeting following the annual meeting of marc. Honorary directors have no vote at the board meetings.

Services provided to the filing organization include day-to-day management, operations and affairs of the organization as directed by the organization's board of directors.
