“OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: The Partners University Fund - formed to encourage innovative partnerships between institutions of higher learning in France and the United States and to foster join curricula and diplomas, as well as to give French and American graduate students the opportunity to explore cross-cultural, interdisciplinary approaches in their courses and/or research. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: The French American Fund for Contemporary Music - supports contemporary music projects commissions, residencies, performances, tours, and master classes - that foster cultural exchange between France and the United States. The Fund awards grants to nonprofit institutions celebrating the work of living composers in both countries. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: The French-American Jazz Exchange - created by Chamber Music America (CMA), the Cultural Services of the French Embassay and FACE to foster collaborative projects that unite French and American jazz artists in the United States and France. The program supports initiatives in both countries. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: FUSED - is a Franco-American cultural exchange project in dance in partnership with the New England Foudnation for the Arts and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation involving exchange of dancers, choreographers and presenters. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: The Book Fund / "French Voices" - suppotrs translation and publication of contemporary French or Francophone works. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: The French Heritage Language Program - supports teaching of French language, literature and culture for students of Francophone background enrolled in NYC public schools. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 10: The Dual Language Programs - following the development of the French Heritage Language Program, these programs are designed for English-speakers and bilingual speakers as well as French native speakers who do not yet speak fluent English. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 11: Other Programs- To promote and foster French-American cultural and intellectual exchange. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 12: FILMS ON THE GREEN - AN ANNUAL,FREE OUTDOOR FILM FESTIVAL IN NEW YORK CITY ORGANIZED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CITY OF NEW YORK PARKS AND RECREATION. FILMS ON THE GREEN PRESENTS FRENCH FILMS IN NEW YORK CITY PARKS IN JUNE AND JULY, AS WELL AS A SPECIAL SCREENING AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY IN SEPTEMBER. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 13: CARTE BLANCHE - CREATED IN 2011 TO PROMOTE FRENCH-AMERICAN COLLABORATIONS IN THE FIELDS OF PERFORMING AND/OR VISUAL ARTS. FRENCH ARTISTS ARE INVITED TO THE U.S. TO DEVELOP ARTISTIC PROJECTS WITH THEIR AMERICAN COUNTERPARTS PREFERABLY OUTSIDE OF THE CONVENTIONAL INSTITUTIONAL FRAME. THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO CREATE WORKS THAT REFLECT THE ARTIST'S ENCOUNTER WITH AMERICAN SOCIETY.”
