“The pta council is the umbrella organization for the scarsdale pta units which exist at each of the seven scarsdale public schools. The pta council sponsors a variety of speakers, panels and programs which enrich the student and parent community. During the school year, the pt council executive committee meets monthly with the scarsdale schools superintendent as well as sends representatives to scarsdale board of education meetings and budget discussions.”

“Young writers' workshop - from sports writers, authors, magazine writers, producers to bloggers and illustrators, numerous top creative professionals share their crafts with third through fifth grade scarsdale children. In each workshop, students will experience "real life" writing activities in small group settings, as well as gain a better understanding of a day in the life of a writer.”
