Activity 2

Ism publishes a members-only magazine, inside supply management, distributed 8 12 times per year to approximately 45,000 members. Ism publishes the monthly manufacturing and non-manufacturing report on business, highly regarded economic reports. These reports, along with the semiannual economic forecasts, are distributed widely through a variety of media outlets. Ism co-publishes the journal of supply chain management, an academic journal focused on research in the supply chain field. The journal subscription base is approximately 3,000.

Activity 3

Conferences: ism held the 98th annual int'l supply management conference & educational exhibit in grapevine, tx. Close to 2000 supply management professionals attended the 3 day event which included over 150 booths in the educational exhibit. Other conferences held by ism included services/indirect conference, women's executive supply management summit, black executive supply management summit, hispanic executive supply management summit,risk management conference, sustainability and social responsibility and the north american research/training symposium. These additional conferences were attended by between 45 to 300 supply management professionals each.
