The family resource network (frn) is dedicated to offering individuals and their families with continuing needs, the greatest opportunities, resources and services to support a full and happy life across the lifespan.

The family resource network is dedicated to offering individuals and their families with continuing needs the greatest opportunities, resources and services to support a full and happy life.rooted in the 35 year history of serving new jersey residents living with epilepsy, developmental disabilities and chronic illness, the epilepsy foundation of new jersey introduced the family resource network in september 2004. The family resource network is a comprehensive family-focused human service organization designed to meet the growing need for programs and services to this rising population. The family resource network is a state-wide organization with offices located in brick, parsippany, trenton, wall, and westmont. The family resource network is comprised of four affiliates: autism family services of new jersey, caregivers of new jersey, epilepsy foundation of new jersey and the family support center of new jersey.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The entities within the organization are exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and are also exempt from state income taxes. The financial accounting standards board (fasb) issued new guidance on accounting for uncertainty in income taxes which the organization has adopted. Management evaluated the organization's tax positions and concluded that the organization had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the combined financial statements to comply with the provisions of this guidance. With few exceptions, the organization is no longer subject to income tax examinations by the u.s. Federal, state, or local tax authorities for years before 2011.
