In the case in which a conflict exists, the individual in question must recuse themselves from voting on the matter. Such matters involving the existence of conflicts of interest are to be documented in the minutes of the governing board.”

In order to ensure fair compensation among senior staff, dosomething looks at compensation of similarly placed organizations in nyc through their 990s and has consulted with several salary studies (including one done by an independent firm to assess salaries for ngos and tech companies in nyc). This process was last performed in 2019.”
