“The aga maintains custodial accounts for local chapters who volunteer to organize and host the us go congress each year. The monies in each account represent a share of the fundraising proceeds generated by that year's congress. The local chapters can then request grants from their accounts, subject to the approval of the executive board and the president, for use in funding local go-related activities. Such expenses typically involve hosting local tournaments, professional workshops, or providing money in the form of scholarships or donations to youth go foundations. The aga also maintains custodial accounts for local chapters that place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the annualcotsen open team championship. These custodial funds can be drawn upon by the winning chapters to fund local go-related activities.”
