Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11

Prior to being filed with the irs, a copy of the form 990 is carefully reviewed for completeness and accuracy by the executive director, the deputy executive director, the finance manager and acria's finance and audit consultants, as well as the finance/audit committee of the board of directors. Once satisfied, a copy of the form 990 is provided to all members of the board of directors in advance of, and for review and discussion during, a board meeting.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

To consistently monitor and enforce compliance of its conflict of interest policy, the organization reviews the annual disclosure of any interests that could give rise to conflict. Any potential conflicts are identified and a determination is made as to whether any conflict exists, and whether the organization should enter into the proposed transaction or take action to eliminate any existing conflict. No such conflicts have been identified by the organization to date. In addition to this process and the practice of annual disclosure, the organization is also periodically requested by certain funders and agencies to obtain disclosure of any interests that could give rise to conflict.

DURING THE PERIOD JULY 1, 2014 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2014, ACRIA TOOK PART IN FIVE CLINICAL TRIALS COMPLETING THREE DURING THE YEAR.APPLIED AND TRANSITIONAL RESEARCH - APPLIED AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH AT ACRIA CENTERS LARGELY AROUND ISSUES OF HIV AND AGING, AN AREA IN WHICH THE ORGANIZATION HAS EARNED A NATIONAL REPUTATION AS A LEADER AND RESOURCE. DURING FY15, AMONG OTHER THINGS, ACRIA'S RESEARCHERS STUDIED THE SERVICE NEEDS AND THE TREATMENT OF DEPRESSION IN HIV-POSITIVE OLDER ADULTS, PRESENTED AT MAJOR CONFERENCES AND COLLABORATED WITH RESEARCHERS IN THIS COUNTRY AND ABROAD ON HIV AND AGING ISSUES.
