Food is distributed five days a week, fifty-two weeks a year to an average of 1,545 low-income families each month. Food packages include fresh fruits and vegetable, meat and protein, dairy, bread and shelf stable items. Weekend food packages are also distributed to at-risk children who participate in free and subsidized school lunch programs so that they do not go hungry on the weekends. |
