The college does not own any of the artwork exhibited in this gallery but receives these pieces for public exhibition. The gallery is intended as a vehicle to increase public appreciation of art and to enhance the student educational experience.”

Permanent endowment funds and quasi endowment funds will fund student scholarships, faculty support, facility enhancements and other strategic initiatives. The college intends on keeping the endowment principal untouched, while using its earnings to satisfy the above mentioned objectives.”
“Iona college (the "college"), a catholic college in the tradition of the christian brothers, is a tax-exempt organization as described in section 501 (c)(3) of the internal revenue code (the code), and is generally exempt from federal income taxes on related income pursuant to section 501 (a) of the code. The college is not currently under examination by any taxing jurisdiction.
