The mission of god's love we deliver is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with hiv/aids, cancer and other life-altering illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. The organization prepares and delivers nutritious, individually-tailored meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves. God's love also provides illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to clients, their families and caregivers and other service organizations. “In fy 2025, the god's love nutrition department worked with other program services departments and with production departments (kitchen, meal packaging and delivery) to plan and implement a new program in behavior health. The program provides medically tailored meals and nutrition counseling and education to veterans living with behavioral health diagnoses who cannot cook or shop for themselves. In addition, they worked on a program for those who are pregnant and living with gestational diabetes, which began in february 2022. The department provided all of its educational publications in english and spanish and free of charge. Additionally, fact sheets on nutrition and illness on our website were translated into simplified chinese so that all fact sheets are now available in english, spanish, and chinese. The department printed a new booklet in english, containing nutrition tips for people living with end stage renal disease and on dialysis.”
