General support for seminars, conferences and webinars and production of commemorative programs for women's history month and literature on the movement women's rights including employment,housing, health care and reproductive rights. Also conducted empowerment and skills classes for young women. (3) center for united labor action, new york, ny $ 8,000. Research studies and seminars and webinars on the state of the u.s. Labor movement and conditions for workers in the u.s. With particular emphasis on the current drive to limit collective bargaining rights. (4) students and youth against racism, new york, ny $ 9,500. General support and webinars with high school and college students to discuss the problems of racism on campus and in society with the result being writings by students and youth about their experiences with racism and sexism. (5) international action center, boston, ma $ 2,500. General support and sponsoring seminars and forums on international and domestic topics with experts on the countries or regions being discussed; publication of educational materials on international issues including coronavirus pandemic and the response of different countries; sponsoring of virtual speaking tours, and webinars; support for community organizations involved with issues of housing, employment and civil rights. Support for offices and conference and meeting space for wide variety of community, cultural, housing, labor and educational organizations as well as forums, classes, seminars and discussion groups on a wide variety of domestic and international topics. (10) metacom education project, watertown, ma $ 5,963. Education projects about indigenous history and contemporary indigenous and environmental issues from an indigenous perspective total grants in 2024 $ 85,909.

Part III, Line 29

Part iii: program service accomplishments: line 29: educational conferences the foundation organized various in person and virtual educational conferences and webinars on the following topics. In addition, literature was prepared to assist participants at the conference and to be distributed by them in their local regions after the conferences. Expenses included hall rental, travel expenses for lecturers and participants, when possible, including international speakers and participants, printing of studies, lectures and reports, internet, streaming and zoom vurtual meeting and other incidental costs. Each conference and webinar was attended by more than 1,000 participants. (1) educational conferences and webinars highlighting the issue of immigration including day to day economic, social and legal problems faced by immigrants, particularly in light of new immigration policies. Meetings also included discussions of legal rights, medical care, educational opportunities and the impact on children of immigrant families who were separated from their parents. Each were attended by over 1,000 participants. $ 5,871. (2) a conference on the 75th anniversay of the founding of the peoples republic of china analyzing the successes and failures in eradicating poverty and developing a world leading economy. The conference included in person and virtual presentations from academics and participants analyzing both state owned and market sectors and how each contributed to china's economic and scientific advancements. The conference was attended by over 1,000 participants. 3,907. Total educational conferences and related activities $ 9,778.
