“Every year our federal Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax, Form 990, is reviewed by our Audit Committee which is comprised of three members of our Department as provided in our Bylaws. The Committee is formed every year to review that tax return as part of their review of the financial books and records of the Department and issuance of a letter to the Department membership stating the scope of their review, findings and recommendations. The tax return is available for all members to examine.”

“Every year our federal Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax, Form 990, is filed with the Village Office where it is available for public inspection. We also advise the public in our annual fundraising letter that the tax return is available for inspection in that location. We are also aware that such a tax return is available on websites accessible to the general public. Our Bylaws are also available upon request.”

“The mission of the Tuxedo Park Fire Department is to protect the life and property of the residents and visitors to our community by reducing the effects of fire, accidents and man-made or natural disasters. This is accomplished by deploying our apparatus, equipment and trained volunteers available 24 hours every day.”

“The amount of $14,573 includes the following detailed expenses: Fire Police-$500, Alarm Services-$640, Food-$3,425, Office Supplies-$582, Postage-$114, Sewer Tax-$913, Miscellaneous-$4,647, Bereavement-$115, Dues and Subscriptions-$1,014, Fundraising-$1,448, and Bookkeeping-$1,175. Total-$14,573”
