Our mission is to create greater public awareness and appreciation of america's rich musical heritage.

Our mission is to create greater public awareness and appreciation of america's rich musical heritage. In addition to performances at carnegie hall, the new york pops is the resident orchestra at forest hills stadium in queens, new york. Popsed, the new york pops' extensive music education program, provides thousands of new york city children the opportunity to experience live music by attending our concerts at carnegie hall and forest hills stadium through our kids in the balcony/stadium initiative. Popsed residencies serve young people in public schools and service organizations throughout the five boroughs of the city.
