“Conflict of interest policy rhcs inc., follows the conflict of interest policy of related entity, st. John's riverside hospital. All members of the board of directors and all personnel of the organization who are in a position to influence any purchasing decision, or business transactions must complete a conflict of interest statement. This includes administrative staff, department heads, and members of the medical board. The statements are distributed by the compliance officer annually in november with the expectation that they be returned to the compliance officer by january of the following year. When returned, they are reviewed by the compliance officer. All information is kept confidential and they are maintained in the compliance office. The compliance officer will consult with outside counsel as necessary concerning any potential problems or possible conflicts of interest. The compliance officer will report any conflicts of interest or possible conflicts to the finance committee and the board of directors. In cases where a conflict of interest exists, board members with a conflict are prohibited from participating in the governing body's deliberations and decisions in the transaction.
