During the year, the corporation received a national portfolio organisation grant of $19,670,740 and other grants of $584,189. Paapa essiedu, one of the board members was also engaged as a member of the acting company during the year on normal commercial terms and received gross remuneration totalling $9,112. Antony sher, the artistic director's husband, was engaged as a member of the acting company during lhe year on normal commercial terms and received gross remuneration totalling $28,448 (2018: $4,766). A proportion of the indemnity insurance equating to $5,776 (2018: 5,835) covers board members. The charity commission has indicated its approval of this arrangement.”
