“Any natural person, age 18 or over, who is a parent/guardian automatically becomes a member of the corporation upon signature of the enrollment agreement and payment of the membership dues. Parents and guardians can opt out of becoming a member by submitting a signed opt-out form. Any corporation, individuals external to the school or a parent/guardian, who initially opted out of becoming a member of the corporation, can apply to become a member. Those applications are approved by the board of trustees in an election.”
