Coat and Suit Industry Trust Fund

The primary purpose and achievements of the fund is to encourage harmonious relationships between manufacturers, contractors and various locals of workers united (formerly unite-here); to promote the apparel industry in general by participating in various labor-managemnt organizations sponsored by the fund, other apparel funds, employer associations, the union, and governmental, quasi-governmental and regulatory agencies, which leads to a greater awareness, appreciation and use of industry products, and increases in productivity of employers and the earnings of the employees.
