Mission

See schedule othe new york institute for human development, inc. ("ihd") assures the maintenance and development of quality affordable housing through management and oversight services to parish-sponsored housing projects owned by non-profit housing development and finance companies. Ihd also manages development of new affordable housing units on vacant or underutilized parish properties, and the refinancing of existing debt obligations.

To aid in the creation, survival, and growth of community-based organizations through a broad range of technical assistance, consulting services, and financial support. Association of new york catholic homes, inc. ("anych") is the sole member of ihd and provides oversight to independent not-for-profit housing companies. Therefore, ihd is affiliated with the catholic charities of the archdiocese of new york ("cc").
