Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Neii is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(6)of the internal revenue code. Under accounting standars codification (asc) section 740, the tax status of tax-exempt entities is an uncertain tax position, since events could potentially occur that jeopardize their tax-exempt status. Neii has addopted the recognition requirements for uncertain income tax positions as required by gaap. Neii believes that income tax filing positions will be sustained upon examination and does not anticipate any adjustments that would result in a material adverse effect on neii's financial condition, results of operations or cash flows. Accordingly, neii has not recorded any liabilities, or related accruals for interest and penalties, for uncertain income tax positions at the current year-end. Neii is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress.

IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0NEII IS TAX-EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(6)OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
