Interactive Drama for Education and Awareness in the Schools (IDEAS) was established to offer participatory drama programs to disadvantaged youth and youth with disabilities, at the heart of a well-rounded education that focuses on the individual. Our primarily focus is youth populations that are routinely excluded from drama and theater experiences, using drama as a teaching and learning tool. These populations include youth with physical, sensory and cognitive disabilities as well as other disadvantages, be they social, economic or geographic, providing equal access to participatory drama opportunities.
