Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Gaap requires that a tax position be recognized or derecognized based on a "more likely than not" threshold. This applies to positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. The adoption of this guidance did not have an impact on the maple street school's financial statements, as management believes that there are no uncertain tax positions within its financial statements. Mss form 990, return of organization exempt from income tax, for the year ended june 30, 2011, 2012 and 2013 are subject to examination by the irs, generally for years after they were filed.

PART XI, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

Direct fundraising expenses 14,722.

PART XII, LINE 2D - OTHER ADJUSTMENTS:

IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0GAAP REQUIRES THAT A TAX POSITION BE RECOGNIZED OR DERECOGNIZED BASED ON A "MORE LIKELY THAN NOT" THRESHOLD.
