Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Hali is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is publicly supported, as described in section 509(a). Hali is also exempt from state and local taxes. Hali evaluated for uncertain tax positions and has determined that there were no uncertain tax provisions for 2013 and 2012. Hali files a form 990 and respective state and local tax returns. These returns are subject to review and examination by federal, state and local taxing authorities. Tax returns for the years ended december 31, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 are open for examination by federal, state, and local taxing authorities. Hali has determined that it has registered in all states where it is required to be registered.
