Mission

Turning point is a community based organization located in sunset park and red hook that provides holistic support services to all of brooklyn. Our mission is to strengthen brooklyn by offering education, health, and social services that serve as a source of hope and empowerment for the under served and individuals in need. The company works with disconnected youth, families in crisis, the homeless, substance abusers, the unemployed, persons infected with and affected by hiv, adult non-readers and non-english speaking immigrants. The company provides direct services to more than 12,000 people in brooklyn each year, and reaches more than 20,000 people through education and outreach programs.

THE COMPANY PROVIDES DIRECT SERVICES TO MORE THAN 12,000 PEOPLE IN BROOKLYN EACH YEAR, AND REACHES MORE THAN 20,000 PEOPLE THROUGH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS.
