“The devon yacht club, inc. (the "club") is formed to serve as a place for pleasure and recreation and is intended at all times to be operated exclusively for such purposes. Its specific objectives seek to emphasize, encourage, assist in and promote the sport of yachting, allied forms of navigation, as well as the sport of tennis. Special attention and encouragement shall be extended to members and guests with respect to matters relating to racing, cruising, seamanship, angling, swimming and tennis with emphasis on sportsmanship, so as to reflect the highest ideals of integrity, together with emphasis on sportsmanship, together with mutual friendship, social contacts, recreational benefits and other appropriate advantages flowing therefrom. Provision shall be made to provide a suitable clubhouse, marina, tennis courts, swimming areas and other necessary facilities appropriate and desirable for the use of its members consistent with the stated objectives.”
