IRS990/Desc0The Tribute WTC Visitor Center educates visitors about the World Trade Center community before 9/11, conveys the events on 9/11, and explores the aftermath through personal experiences. In 2017, 140,000 visitors were served at the Tribute Center. Interactive exhibits and personal greeters from the September 11th community create an environment for reflection that involves visitors in appreciating the scope and impact of terrorism as well as the enormous outpouring of compassion in response. By engaging visitors in the authentic experiences of those most affected by the events of 9/11, the exhibits convey multiple perspectives of courage, loss, heroism and grief.
