“Membership is open to all residents and staekholders of the north end neighborhood, including owners of property located within the nighborhood, individuals and representitives of business, cultural, educational, social services agencies, religious and citizen organizations located within and or having a significant impact on the neighborhood, and/or stakeholders. The members of n.e.a.t. Will have the power to vote on all decisions.”

“Governing body meetings are documented and retained/distributed to fellow board members, and kept on file within the organization. These are available to the public upon request for review.”

“A majority vote of the governing body is the final review.”

“The advisors shall not enter into any contact or transaction with (a) one or more of its advisors, (b) an advisor of a related organization, or (c) an organization in or of which an advisor of organization is a director, officer, or legal representitive, or in some other way has a material or financial interst unless:1. The interest is disclosed2. The advsiory board approves, authorizes or ratifies the action in good faith3. The approval is by a majority of advisors (not counting the interested advisor)4. At a meeting where a quorum if present (not counting the interested advisor)the interested advisor may be present for discussion to answer initial questions, but may not be present for neither discussion nor advocate for the action to be taken and must leave the room.”
