Mutual housing association of greater hartford has contracted with its wholly-owned properties, limited partnerships and other unrelated properties to provide property management services. The agreements provide for a fee based on monthly gross rent collected. The agreements continue until cancelled by either party.

The organization accounts for uncertainty in income taxes in accordance with the income tax topic of the financial accounting standards board accounting standards codification ("fasb asc"). The organization files federal and connecticut tax returns, which represent the major tax jurisdictions of the organization. Federal and state tax years 2021 through 2024 remain open for audit under the various statutes of limitations. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the organization and has concluded that, as of december 31, 2024, there are no uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the consolidated financial statements.
