Derby pop warner is an organization serving the youth of derby, ct and surroundingtowns through cheer and football programming. Since 1965, derby pop warner has influencedthe lives of thousands of athletes and families. Teaching not only the fundamentals of footballand cheerleading but important life skills such as teamwork, resiliency, hard work andcompassion. Derby pop warner follows the guiding principles of the national program, popwarner little scholars; the only national youth sports organization that requires scholasticaptitude to participate. This requires our athletes to maintain a certain standard, academically andbehaviorally, on and off the field/mat.

We presently serve the boys and girls in the Town Of Derby. The boys and girls compete with others through out the state and country learning sportsmanship and achievements throughout team competition.
