| IRS990ScheduleA/Form990ScheduleAPartVIGrp/ExplanationTxt | 0 | During the COVID-19 pandemic, our elementary school PTA -- which relies entirely on unpaid parental volunteers -- was adversely impacted as for a period of time many parents struggling with the pandemic were unable to muster sufficient time to continue volunteering for the PTA while also working full time jobs and taking care of their small children. As a result, for several years the PTA significantly reduced its level of activity and some information was lost as prior PTA board members moved out of the school district. Accordingly, the PTA does not have easy access to records for the years immediately preceding 2023. Over the past year, our PTA has rebuilt its board and membership and has developed transition protocols to avoid a repeat of the disrupted transition of information and knowledge which occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. |
