Mission

To promote and foster the highest degree of safety in the transportation of school children. To that end, we provide continuing education for our members and sponsor annual safety skills competitions and safe driver recognition programs. In conjunction with the department of motor vehicles, we developed and administer the training course required to become an approved school bus driver instructor. We work closely with state agencies and the legislature to ensure that connecticut's children enjoy the safest possible ride to school.

To promote and foster the highest degree of safety in the transportation of school children.

Financial Statement Notes

Part X, Line 2:

The organization's federal information returns prior to fiscal year 2014 are closed and management continually evaluates expiring statutes of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law and new authoritative rulings. If the organization has unrelated business income taxes, it would recognize interest and penalties associated with any tax matters as part of the income tax provision and include accrued interest and penalties with the related tax liability in the statements of financial position.

IRS990/MissionDesc0To promote and foster the highest degree of safety in the transportation of school children.
